Vieux Boucau has some huge campings that are villages on its own, the coastal road gets closer to the sea and the Hossegor area attracting more year-round surfers and travellers is nearby. Sometimes the rivermouth gives a good left towards Vieux Boucau and a right to Soustons but it’s always a surprise what winter will prepare for summer.
