Moliets has the largest beach in les landes. The long walk to the water and the absence of a car park close to the beach keeps the crowds down, allthough the summer surf camp tsunami brings in a lot of people. The rivermouth of the courant du Huchet shapes good banks from time to time and keeps them in to place. Bigger swells tend to close out.
