This is the first surfable beach south of the Adour rivermouth that borders Les Landes fromt the Pays Basque (Bask Country). Those who think this is a sheltered spot cause of the two jetties are not always right. It can be a lot smaller than the other Anglet beaches or it can be only a little bit smaller, depending on how much sand is hanging around the jetties on both sides. The sand moves all the time, sometimes there’s a rippable left on the south side, sometimes a fast right runs in the middle, it’s always a surprise but surely pretty sketchy if bigger. More north in the swell means more size coming in. © Laurent Masurel
