Biscarrosse is the gateway to the endless sandbars of Les Landes. It’s a lively little town with different accesses to the beach so different options to surf. The best banks are mostly producing rippable waves on a not too high tide but low tide can give some hollow peelers too. To the south there is a no go military zone that stretches to Mimizan, to the north there is a huge carpark where a quick check isn’t possible but you can find less crowded waves. If you don’t like sand, you can chill après-surf on the stretch of perfectly green grass, quiet rare in the sandy region. © SurferMap.com
