
SURF PRIORITY
GENERAL
One wave, one surfer.
RULES
1. The surfer already riding the wave has priority.

2. The surfer closest to the peak has priority.


SURF CODE
Paddle around the peak
to get out.

Paddle around to pass a surfer, give the surfer a free line.
Surfer has priority on paddler but should avoid accidents.

Don’t take off if there’s a risk to hurt anybody.

Don’t paddle around another surfer to gain priority of approaching wave.

On A-frame: 1 left, 1 right. Communicate to avoid collision.

If 2 peaks end together, the 2 surfers get out on time.

Be aware and courteous, say sorry!


Hang on to your board,
do a duckdive or eskimo roll!
Give respect
to gain respect.
Beginners:
Avoid crowded and/or advanced spots.
