Mejillones
Famous big-wave spot which is best with west swell and south-west wind. When it’s pumping you might witness a live tow-in show. Crowded when it’s small. Board snapper spot, only for experts. Best season: October till March.

Cofete
A huge beach break in the middle of nowhere. Not a common spot, but if you are lucky you can score a nice session. Needs a small swell without wind, otherwise the current will be too strong. A long dirtroad trip away from Morro Jable so take water and food. Best season: September and October.

Playa del Moro
Beachbreak for all levels, very popular by the local surf schools. Rarely works in winter because it needs a huge northwest swell. Most surfed in summer with northeast wind swell. Best season: April till September.
