At the beach of Zandvoort lots of different activities take place (parties, festivals, (wind-)surf and sup, food and drinks). For the best conditions you should be there around high-tide with NNW Swell and Eastern winds, from the smallest surf till head high waves this place is producing well. When the surf is on, the spot can get crowded, especially during weekends and holidays.
Besides surfing, Zandvoort is known for their Formule 1 circuit races, fun to visit on those flat days.
