As a Surf Camp, surfing is our top priority! Therefore, we offer a high quality service and seek optimal learning conditions for each and every student. All of our surf instructors are native surfers, with fully recognized instructor and life-guard qualifications. At our surf camp we offer beginner / intermediate lessons, advanced lessons and surf guiding.
All lessons are in Portuguese or English. Some of our instructors also speak a third language, so if you don’t feel confident speaking English don’t be shy, because we will be able to provide you with some extra tutorial help. We have the same standards for all of our courses: well tutored instructors, with many years of surfing experience and a love of the sport; groups never being larger than 8 people; and all including the use of a surfboard and high-quality wet suit. After the session you are allowed to continue using the equipment, as long as an instructor is around to watch and guarantee your safety.
Each surf lesson is 2hrs, split into theory, warm up, practice time and feedback. Before your first ever surf lesson, you may be taken to the municipal swimming pool, where you can start understanding the safety procedures of surfing without being put into the hazards of the ocean.
