Fast right hander that peels off the rocks at the north end, where the River Gannel joins the sea. This beach is popular with longboarders. The bay is sheltered from the wind and you can escape the crowds. The River Gannel is a good spot to SUP on a high tide.
Parking available at either sides of the bay, at Crantock or West Pentire.
