The shop has stayed in the same family since it was established and its current staff (all of whom are regular and committed surfers) can boast over 50 years experience in the surf business. We pride ourselves in offering a low pressure sales technique, emphasising honesty.
We stock a wide and varied range of clothing, footwear, and headwear, for men and women. With new stock arriving each season, we have everything from boardies, bikinis and flip flops in the summer, to jackets, fleeces and beanies in the winter. We stock an extensive range of wetsuits for men, women and children. We have been fitting wetsuits for surfers of all ages, for years, and all our staff are experienced and knowledgeable in what constitutes a ‘good fit’. Getting the right fit is absolutely crucial to the wetsuits effectiveness, no matter how much you spend.
If we don’t have a suit that we think will do the job, then we will tell you, and not let you walk out with the wrong equipment. You can rest assured you will get the right advice, in a friendly manner. For this reason, we recommend you take the time to visit the shop, and try some suits on.
Also, any wetsuit purchased at Bathsheba Surf, will receive a good trade-in price (depending on condition), when you come back to buy a new one. This is especially true with children’s wetsuits, when we have frequently offered as much as half price back on a new wetsuit purchase!
Because of this we also have a good selection of second hand wetsuits. We also stock, boots, gloves, hoods, caps, socks and all sorts of vests.

We have a huge range of wave riding equipment, from hand planes to longboards. There are many great shapers in the UK, and we are lucky to work with two of the best in Ben Skinner and Luke Hart.
