The biggest natural beach in Tenerife also hosts its main windsurfing spot for all levels. Here you find most of the windsurfing rentals and schools. Good conditions for freeride, slalom and freestyle. With northeast wind, the regular one, it´s a bit choppy, and usually very small waves. Southwest wind is very gusty but brings perfectly flat water, or (very rare) with a south or a east swell, down the line conditions, also possible for wave beginners. You share the beach with kitesurfers and surfers, so be careful. Windsurfers usually sail in front of Flashpoint (10), leaving the downwind beach for kiters. Also launching place for people who want to go wavesailing at the harbour wall (muelle). It takes just a few tacks to go upwind.
