Surfer Map was born out of the brain of a passionate surfer in Fuerteventura. He started the printed version in 2009 to inform visiting and local surfers about surf spots, surf businesses and tides in a yearly edition. In the meantime it became an international story of surfing friends. In France the three editions of Surfer Map (Gironde, Les Landes and Côte Basque) are since 2012 free to take in nearly 1000 distribution points all along the beautiful southwest coast.
