Scheveningen Noord is the main beach of Scheveningen, it works with a lot of different conditions but it is best on low tide with strong sw/w swell, a long left hander peals all the way from the top of the pier al the way through to the beach. With high tide it changes to the inside and you can find yourself some little tubes in the shorebreak. Scheveningen Noord is mostly crowded.
There are different parking options. You can park around the harbour, it’s free parking. There are also a lot of parking spots on the boulevard but in the high season (march – october) you’ve got to pay there (€ 2.60 p/h). Next to the surf you can find some good places to shop, eat, party, sleep and repeat.
