Montalivet has a very long stretch of easy accesible beach as the road to Soulac is very close to the ocean. There are some jetties at the main access, which make the spot very diverse and there is something to surf for everyone. The sand banks are often very pronounced and the breaks are less sensitive to the tidal changes. It can barrel close to the shore or run mellow and long further out.
