This spot is based at the harbour of Rotterdam, it only works on the bigger days with the right swell direction, but when it works, it’s easily one of the best spots in Holland. You will have to deal with a lot of current, and some heavy wipe outs. The Maasvlakte is not for beginners but only for well experienced surfers to experts. In most cases it’s a righthander with a lot of power and you can find some really good tube rides out there, even sometimes up to 50m or longer.
