A sheltered alternative when the surf is too big for your level at Costa da Caparica, Fonte de Telha is a peaceful, sleepy town for most of the year, but comes alive during the summer. Wave quality depends on sandbars, swell and wind direction, but is mostly above average. A popular kitesurf spot too, as the wind blows a bit more sideshore than at nearby Caparica. © SurferMap.com
