This area is rated as one of the most popular surf spots in Lisbon and is a real crowd attraction, both for surfers and beach goers. Luckily most surfers just chose the easiest option and surf between the man-made jetties that keep the sandbars in place. But drive a couple of kilometers to the north or south and you might find empty perfection.
